Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Serves as the Payments Technology point of contact and partner with technology and business leaders to provide a multi-year technical vision and strategy aligned to achieving business goals. This role will serve as the key technical domain leader, will be able to anticipate business needs and proactively provide technical solutions as those needs arise. This role serves as a technology leader within the PULSE Payments Technology organization and across the entire Business Technology organization. This role will lead multiple technical teams: Quality Engineering, Testing, and Network Capacity Volume Planning & Forecasting. These teams may consist of Application Engineers, Technical Product Owners, and Quality engineering staff. Establish and manage department budget, including employee labor, contractor, and offshore resources.  Maintains strong partnerships with leadership in Business, Client Services, Product, and Risk, to ensure needs of the organization are understood and prioritized as warranted. Ensure an adequate audit and control environment exists, including but not limited to audit, risk control self-assessment testing and regulatory support, as well as fully supporting all risk management.  

 This role creates a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization and role models this culture within their organization, across PULSE Payments Technology and Business Technology. 

How You’ll Do It

• Directs daily operations of department, ensuring prioritized initiatives are delivered meeting predictability and quality standards while providing operational, business, and technical input on  

• Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. 

• Reviews project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. 

• Assigns and reviews the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers. 

Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related 

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or related 

• 2+ years of People Leadership experience 

In Lieu of Education 

• 12+ years of experience in Information Technology or related

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience leading programs to decommission large legacy applications 

• Experience leveraging public/private/hybrid cloud, cloud enabled software, CI/CD pipeline, open-source technology, and advanced analytics 

• Experience acting as POC for outside technical vendors 

• Demonstrated experience as a technical thought leader

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $150,500.00 to $228,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
