Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position.  Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation. Manages all aspects of the project over its entire life, including the initiation, plan development, execution, controls, and implementation. Leads project teams to ensure projects jo are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Supports enterprise-wide Risk Identification workstream engagement with Risk Appetite workstream, Enterprise Risk Management workstream, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tool team, 2nd Line risk categories and other key stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of project management and ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work; organization agility to adapt to changing demands.

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, influence outcomes, and identify ways to improve and streamline processes.

  • Acts as a liaison between the business and development resources. Manages all aspects of each project. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs.  

  • Assembles project teams. Aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources. Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.  

  • Assists with business requirements analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Ensures change controls are executed appropriately. Estimates work efforts and manages resources accordingly.  

  • Documents agendas, meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and issue logs. Communicates statuses to stakeholders.  

 

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Information Technology, Business Administration and Management, Project Management, Finance, Social Services, or Continuous Improvement.

  • 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related and applicable areas of experience.

  • In lieu of education, 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

If we had our say, we’d also look for: 

  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related and applicable areas of expertise.  

  • Agile and/or Kanban, PMP.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
