Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Responsible for executing the day-to-day Third-Party Risk Management onboarding activities within the Company per corporate policies and third-party risk management requirements within the Company. Responsible for facilitating requests throughout the entire supplier and engagement onboarding and modification process. Communicates with Business Partners to address all questions related to Supplier onboarding. Responsible for the review and planning of incoming requests, gathering required documentation for set-up, the drafting of low spend contract agreements, and the execution of all agreements. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Facilitates the completion of the supplier onboarding processes for new suppliers, new engagements, and modifications to existing contracts. Assists business stakeholders in submitting new requests and internal risk assessments, and project planning and tracking the progress of requests throughout the end-to-end process.

  • Drafts, finalizes, and works with Business Partners to negotiate low spend SOWs and amendments. Gathers relevant contract documents in support of drafting and negotiating higher spend agreements. Ensures accurate data entry in the contracts database and oversees necessary controls to ensure contracts are not signed prior to internal approval.

  • Provides support to and manages relationships with internal Business Partners. Ensures Business Partners are following all processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Third Party Program.

  • Partners with relevant stakeholders (AP, Sourcing, TPRM, etc.) to identify opportunities to streamline business processes, mitigate risks, and add value to the organization through continuous improvement of Discover’s supplier onboarding process.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management or related.

  • 4+ years of experience in Business, Vendor Management, Operations, or related.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management or related.

  • 6+ years of experience in Business, Vendor Management, Operations, or related.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
