Responsible for managing vendor onboarding through the entire Vendor Onboarding Process. Communicates with multiple Business Partners to address all questions relating to Vendor Management. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manages vendors through the entire Vendor On-Boarding process and related life-cycle. Serves as a subject matter expert on the process and acts as a single point of contact for all stakeholders. Facilitates onboarding activities between the required teams. Identifies opportunities to streamline business processes, mitigate risks, add value to the organization, and provides recommendations to management. Identifies and develops cost reduction opportunities. 

  • Reviews Tier Assessment forms for completeness and accuracy, cancels requests when needed, and ensures each request moves through the process in a timely fashion. Manages updates and new releases to the VMA tool. Creates requirements, assists with creating the technical design, participates in user acceptance testing, and creates training materials for new releases. 

  • Ensures that due diligence activities are performed on each Vendor by Tier to meet FDIC, SOX, Bank Regulator’s and Internal Audit requirements. 

  • Maintains the Vendor Management repository, updates the Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures and training documents for the Vendor Management program. 

  • Leverages the vendor marketplace and existing relationships to mitigate risk to the company and optimize relationships. Participates in the development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies. Identifies and reinforces actions needed to achieve synergy with the larger organization. Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements effective solutions to streamline processes and improve quality. Partners with team members to present internal business customers with appropriate vendor options and ensure effective service delivery. 

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications or related field 

  • 2+ years of experience in Business, Vendor Management, Operations or related field 

  • In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in Business, Vendor Management, Operations or related field 

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
