Job Description:

Responsible for providing counsel and support to HR on compensation-related matters, policies, practices, and procedures. Collaborates directly with the business to advise and execute on compensation initiatives. Conducts job evaluations, market analyses, and research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. 

Responsibilities 

  • Identifies process improvement and best practice opportunities for business processes. Documents new procedures and business process workflows. 

  • Utilizes analytics, data, and research results in the implementation of compensation solutions designed to support business objectives. 

  • Participates in third-party compensation surveys. Performs research with peer companies and similar external markets. 

  • Analyzes job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques. Aligns jobs and establishes compensation parameters equitable within the organization and competitive to the external market. Ensures all reviewed jobs have the proper exemption status, meet compliance requirements, and regulatory standards. 

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 

  • 2+ years of experience in broad-based compensation with a strong understanding of job evaluation techniques 

  • In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in broad-based compensation with a strong understanding of job evaluation techniques.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $58,500.00 to $90,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
