What You'll Do
The Products and Credit Actions team within Portfolio Marketing is responsible for customer experiences for our Secured, Student and DiBC cardmembers, along with supporting Credit Actions messaging. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to lead back book migration efforts of Discover’s Business card portfolio, ensuring a successful transition and supporting migration efforts for the Student and Secured portfolios.
As a Principal Project Manager on the team, you’ll be responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation. Managing all aspects of the project over its entire life including: the initiation, plan development, execution, controls, and implementation and leading project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs.
How You'll Do It
Acts as a liaison between the business and development resources. Manage all aspects of each project. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs.
Assembles project teams. Aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources. Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.
Assist with business requirements analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Ensures change controls are executed appropriately. Estimate work efforts and manage resources accordingly.
Document agendas, meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and issue logs. Communicate statuses to stakeholders.
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Information Technology, Business Administration and Management, Project Management, Finance, Social Sciences, Continuous Improvement or related.
6+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related and applicable areas of experience.
In lieu of education 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $91,000.00 to $153,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
