My personal brand

The words to describe me best would have to be straightforward, witty, and personable. I am passionate about creating community and sustainable relationships that will withstand the test of time. I focus on being kind to everyone I meet and leaving situations better than I found them.

Growth and lessons learned

Genuinely appreciating where you are without getting extremely comfortable will take you far. Acknowledging vital experiences and the wonderful people you’ve connected with adds to your repertoire of greatness. Also, knowing more lies ahead while mastering what’s in front of you is one of the most rewarding things. You can’t fully appreciate the lessons in your current season if you’re always wondering what’s next.

The most difficult truth is no one thinks like me or does things the way I would. No matter what my rationale is, people have alternate ways of viewing and processing information—and that is okay. I have grown accustomed to being okay with that in every aspect of life. Unfortunately, there were instances where I was a better friend to some than they were to me. In turn, I was left with the short end of the stick. Even with those past experiences, I’ve never been discouraged from continuing to pour into reciprocal relationships.

Thankfully, I have always been affirmed in my decisions and encouraged to speak, proudly, about what I believe in. I have received full support in anything I embarked on and that continues to remain clear presently. Being an only child and grandchild, I’ve always had a voice. Advocating for myself and communicating my needs and desires has never been a daunting task. Remember to remain true to who you are no matter the circumstances. My favorite thing about who I am is my identity is unique.

Discover is my second experience navigating corporate life and it’s been quite a journey in a short time. There are so many people I can relate to across various parts of my identity which is a new and great feeling for me. I appreciate feeling like I matter and am seen.
