The Product Owner is responsible for writing user stories that align to the product features. Ensures the pipeline (backlog) stays full and is prioritized. Internally focused on the Agile team and implementation. Reviews and accepts user stories. Partners with Product Managers to prepare features and user stories for continuous planning cycles.
This role in Network Authorizations is primarily responsible for participating in all aspects of Digital Initiatives to identify impacts between our Network Authorization Platform and DDX Platform, for future Program Increments. This position will be focused on partnering with Technical Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, Product Owners, & Product Managers driving solutions for Network Authorizations Platform strategies by participating in strategic planning sessions and prepare features for continual planning cycle. Responsibilities will include identification of high-level requirements in order to scope Network Authorization DN and DCI impact for prioritized initiatives and to ensure detailed level requirements / User Stories align to the strategy. The position requires strong strategic thinking, detail oriented, and effective oral & written communication skills. Perform production business validation of functionality installed during established off hour release window.
Responsibilities
Serve as the conduit to technology through the Agile team.
Write user stories that align to the product features and ensure the pipeline (backlog) stays full and is prioritized.
Review and accept user stories, and partner with Product Managers to prepare features and user stories for continual planning cycles.
Provide status updates to the business and management.
Manage and prioritizes sprint backlogs.
Empower decisions regarding functionality and priority in the sprint.
Lead efforts to attain product vision and objectives.
Develop user stories from prioritized features, identify acceptance criteria for user stories, approve each user story during the sprint, ensure that user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) and are updated in the system.
Collaborate with Agile teams to follow through on business priorities and visions and deliver customer and business value through product features.
Review and update client facing Specification related documentation. This includes owning Technical Specifications, its accuracy and review/approval work streams including identification and adherence to enterprise wide standards.
Contribute to the Business knowledge repository by documenting capabilities / enhancements for future reference
Be capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end-to-end, coordinate with multiple teams of business owners, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Be responsible for confirming, along with Product Managers, that Acceptance Criteria has been met
Supports implementation by performing business validation of the functionality implemented.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, finance, engineering, or related field
Experience in product owner, business analyst, customer service and relationships, IT, or related field
Proficiency in Agile methodology, including backlog grooming, interactive engagement with Scrum Master, SMEs and other product owners
Preferred Qualifications

SAFe
Strong understanding of Payment Services Business and Agile delivery framework
Strong communication and presentation skills
Certified SAFe POPM is a plus
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work well under pressure to meet deadlines within short time constraints
Solid query and reporting skills (SQL) using tools like Teradata
Knowledge in Splunk query language
Previous experience and/or understanding of Digital (Wallet) & Emerging Credit/Debit card Payment Processing is a plus
