TITLE: Lead Fraud Risk Specialist
DUTIES: Pulse Network LLC seeks Lead Fraud Risk Specialist in Houston, TX to provide consultative support to internal and external partners and customers. Educate partners and customers on the threat environment and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Represent the company at key seminars and industry conferences. Deliver addresses as a keynote speaker or at breakout sessions. Visit customers to assess their needs and drive company interests. Coordinate with internal and external parties to identify threats and countermeasures in order to protect the value chain and prevent losses to any company partner. Identify new and potential threats to the payments environment. Define threats and provide countermeasures to prevent compromises and losses. Convert raw data into distinct trends. Anticipate and prevent compromises at points of relative vulnerability. Manage existing programs and recommend and implement new programs and program innovations. Analyze financial data to detect irregularities in areas such as billing trends, financial relationships, and regulatory compliance procedures. Assist the leadership with the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide global fraud mitigation strategy. Develop and manage industry product solutions to developing trends. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related occupation: working with an enterprise SQL type database software product including Oracle or Teradata; using SAS and Python Pandas; using business intelligence tools including Tableau; working with Agile methodology. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or other related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
